The MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 ECO in earthy-yellow combines a low-profile hard shell with the space of a folding rooftop tent. Its lightweight construction, gas-strut-assisted setup and practical interior equipment create a comfortable sleeping space for two people while travelling.

Spacious Sleeping Area

The approximately 140 × 195 cm sleeping area provides plenty of space for two people. A maximum interior height of approximately 110 cm provides additional headroom. The rooftop tent measures approximately 210 × 165 cm when open, while its closed dimensions are approximately 165 × 125 × 28.7 cm.

Approximately 69 kg Excluding the Ladder

The rooftop tent weighs approximately 69 kg excluding the ladder. The removable aluminium ladder extends to approximately 230 cm, has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg and is transported separately inside the vehicle. Its weight therefore does not remain on the vehicle roof. The weight of the vehicle crossbars must also be considered when determining the dynamic roof load.

Assisted Setup With STABILUS Gas Struts

Four lockable fastening buckles on the underside secure the closed rooftop tent. Once the buckles are released, STABILUS gas struts assist with raising the body. This allows the MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 ECO to be opened in just a few steps, even when it is mounted on a taller vehicle.

Low-Profile Hard Shell With Line-X® Coating

The dark Grey hard shell is made from recyclable Extreme ABS. Its matt Line-X® coating protects the shell and creates a robust surface. Integrated VICKYWOOD branding completes the distinctive appearance of the rooftop tent. A particularly lightweight honeycomb panel forms the floor base.

Recycled Tent Fabric and Confirmed Weather Protection

The earthy-yellow tent fabric is made from recycled 320 g/m² ripstop polyester with a PU coating and a W/R rating of 5,000 mm. The Black rain cover is made from PU-coated 600D Oxford polyester and has a W/R rating of 3,000 mm and UV50+. SBS zips complete the construction.

6 cm Memory Foam Mattress

The 6 cm memory foam mattress with a water-repellent cover provides a comfortable sleeping surface. Fine-mesh mosquito nets on all openings support ventilation while keeping insects outside.

Lighting and Storage Inside the Tent

Two dimmable LED lights with USB connections illuminate the interior and entrance areas. Two large shoe bags are positioned on either side of the tent entrance. Additional storage nets and storage space on the tent floor help keep clothing and smaller items neatly organised.

Compatible Accessories for Your Travel Set-up

The MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 ECO can be fitted with a compatible 3D mesh mattress underlay that supports air circulation beneath the mattress. A telescopic ladder extending up to 260 cm is available for particularly high mounting positions. A compatible annex creates additional sheltered space beside the vehicle, while the optional thermal inner tent improves insulation in lower temperatures.
