The MAPLE 155/205 is a hybrid hard-shell folding rooftop tent that combines a robust, aerodynamic hard shell with the generous interior depth of a folding rooftop tent.

67 or 81 kg including ladder & mattress
The MAPLE 155 weighs approximately 67 kg and the MAPLE 205 approximately 81 kg. Removing the detachable ladder reduces the weight remaining on the vehicle by a further approximately 6 kg if required.
Space for up to three people
Depending on the size, the sleeping area measures approximately 140 × 240 cm for up to two people or approximately 178 × 240 cm for up to three people.
Easy operation
Gas struts assist one-handed opening. No separate cover is required, while sliding rail fasteners and elastic outer cords make closing easier.

Panoramic front with a terrace feel

A true highlight is the large panoramic front, which opens wide to create an exceptionally spacious and open feel. Combined with the terrace function and sun canopy, it creates a sheltered space with plenty of light, fresh air and unobstructed views of nature.

Practical comfort down to the last detail

The dimmable LED lighting provides pleasant interior light in the evening, while the two large shoe bags at the entrance keep shoes and smaller items clean and within easy reach. This keeps the MAPLE tidy, comfortable and well organized throughout your camping trip.

The ladder simply stays on the roof tent

The ladder has an integrated mount in the hard shell and can remain attached to the closed tent while driving. Aerodynamic moulded sections enclose it at the sides and reduce unwanted wind noise. If you want to save weight, the ladder can also be removed, reducing the roof tent’s weight by around 6 kg.

Hard shell meets folding tent – the best of both worlds

The MAPLE combines the robust, aerodynamic design of a hard shell with the spacious interior of a classic folding roof tent. It remains compact on the vehicle when closed, yet unfolds to create an exceptionally long sleeping area of around 240 cm.

Opens in seconds – without a cumbersome travel cover

Thanks to its gas struts, the MAPLE opens effortlessly and can even be set up with just one hand. Unlike many traditional folding roof tents, there is no separate travel cover that needs to be removed before every setup and refitted afterwards. External elastic cords also help pull the tent fabric inwards automatically when closing.

Innovative material for a better sleeping environment

The newly developed graphene-coated 300D fabric improves light blocking and thermal insulation while being lighter and thinner than conventional materials. It is complemented by a comprehensive ventilation system and a drainage system that channels moisture and water away – creating a more comfortable climate inside the tent.

MAPLE 155/205 – hard shell meets spacious folding rooftop tent

The hybrid hard-shell folding MAPLE rooftop tent combines the robust, aerodynamic outer shell of a hard-shell rooftop tent with the generous interior depth of a folding rooftop tent. When closed, the model remains compact on the vehicle roof. Once unfolded, it creates a 240 cm long sleeping area with space for sleeping and personal equipment.

Two sizes for different space requirements

MAPLE 155

The MAPLE 155 offers an approximately 140 × 240 cm sleeping area for up to two people. At approximately 67 kg including the ladder and mattress, it is the more compact version. Its closed external dimensions are approximately 160 × 125 × 28 cm.

MAPLE 205

The MAPLE 205 extends the sleeping area to approximately 178 × 240 cm and accommodates up to three people. It weighs approximately 81 kg including the ladder and mattress. When closed, it measures approximately 200 × 125 × 28 cm. Both sizes reach a maximum interior height of approximately 110 cm.

Easy opening and closing

Gas struts assist one-handed opening of the rooftop tent. There is no separate cover that needs to be removed before setup and refitted afterwards. Sliding rail fasteners and elastic outer cords guide the tent fabric inwards when closing. The 1-Click-Lock system secures the closed hard shell.

The detachable black aluminium ladder is approximately 230 cm long and has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. During travel, it can remain in the recess provided on the hard shell. Aerodynamic mouldings enclose it on both sides. Alternatively, it can be removed, reducing the tent weight remaining on the vehicle by approximately 6 kg.

Adjustable sleeping comfort and an open feeling of space

The approximately 8 cm thick comfort hybrid mattress combines a foam insert with a firmness level that can be adjusted using air pressure. This allows you to adapt the firmness to your personal sleeping preferences. The matching multifunctional air pump with USB-C cable is included.

Large windows, roof windows and the panoramic front with terrace function and sunshade bring light and fresh air into the interior. The maximum interior height of approximately 110 cm supports the open feeling of space. A dimmable LED light strip with a USB-C connection provides pleasant interior lighting in the evening.

Well-designed climate and condensation management

The tent body is made from breathable, graphene-coated 300D fabric with a 5,000 mm water column and UV 50+. The coating supports light blocking and thermal insulation, while the breathable fabric contributes to a pleasant interior climate.

Ventilation openings at the front, rear and sides as well as in the upper and lower areas allow air to circulate and help condensation escape. A drainage system directs water away when the tent is open. The backflow-preventing drainage channel on the base plate supports controlled drainage.

Robust construction and practical organisation

An ABS design cover forms the hard shell and accommodates the ladder in a recess. The strong base plate is made from a nylon-glass-fibre composite material. Inside, two large shoe storage bags, two organisers with three small pockets each and two power bank pockets provide dedicated storage for personal items.

Mounting and extensions

Two suitable crossbars are intended for mounting. The spacing between the mounting rails on the tent base is approximately 61 cm. A minimum distance of approximately 65 cm is required between the plastic feet of the crossbars across the width of the vehicle roof. Universal mounting and fastening materials are included.

A compatible annex can extend the MAPLE with additional sheltered space at ground level. A compatible thermal inner tent is also available as an optional accessory for cooler nights.
