The MAPLE 155/205 is a hybrid hard-shell folding rooftop tent that combines a robust, aerodynamic hard shell with the generous interior depth of a folding rooftop tent.

Equipped with a premium self-inflating air mattress with foam insert, the MAPLE 205 adapts to your individual needs. More air or less air? You decide your preferred firmness level. For restful sleep after long hikes, surf sessions or full days outside. An air pump is, of course, included in the scope of delivery.

Outstanding ventilation – even in the rain

With 5 windows, the large entrance and multiple ventilation openings at the front, rear, sides, top and bottom, the MAPLE 205 offers an exceptionally well-designed ventilation concept. Even in the rain, the interior climate remains pleasant – condensation can escape effectively. In addition, the tent is equipped with a smart drainage system for reliable water drainage when open and a backflow-preventing drainage channel on the base plate, helping you stay dry inside – even when the weather changes unexpectedly.

Smart technology for relaxed road trips

The specially developed press-buckle locking system with safety pin provides double security while driving and offers faster, more comfortable handling than conventional systems. A real highlight: the first permanently mounted click-in ladder. You unlock and extend the ladder comfortably while standing next to the car – and open the tent from this relaxed position. No climbing onto the car roof required. While driving, the ladder can remain on top of the case, enclosed on the left and right by aerodynamic moulded parts, producing hardly any wind noise. Alternatively, it can be removed quickly – reducing the rooftop tent weight by a further approx. 6 kg.

Set up in seconds – more time for what really matters

Thanks to gas struts, the MAPLE 205 opens particularly easily and with just one hand. A classic tent cover, as used on conventional fold-out tents, has been deliberately omitted – saving time and making setup significantly easier. The 1-click-lock closure ensures secure fastening of the hard shell. High-quality materials provide stability and durability – even with frequent use.

Thanks to sliding rail closures and elastic outer cords, the tent fabric does not have to be awkwardly tucked into the case when closing. Simply close it. Drive on. Next adventure.

The hybrid hard-shell folding MAPLE 205 rooftop tent in grey combines the robust, aerodynamic outer shell of a hard-shell rooftop tent with the generous interior depth of a folding rooftop tent. When closed, it remains compact on the vehicle roof. Once unfolded, it creates a wide sleeping area with space for up to three people as well as bags or equipment.

Generous sleeping area with compact packed dimensions

The sleeping area measures approximately 178 × 240 cm and offers plenty of freedom of movement. The maximum interior height is approximately 110 cm. When open, the MAPLE 205 measures approximately 260 × 200 cm, while its closed external dimensions are reduced to approximately 200 × 125 × 28 cm.

Approximately 81 kg including ladder and mattress

The MAPLE 205 weighs approximately 81 kg including the ladder and mattress. Without the approximately 6 kg ladder, around 75 kg remains on the vehicle. The detachable black aluminium ladder is approximately 230 cm long and has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. During travel, it can remain in the recess provided on the hard shell. Aerodynamic mouldings enclose it on both sides. Alternatively, it can be transported separately inside the vehicle.

Easy opening and closing

Gas struts assist one-handed opening of the rooftop tent. There is no separate cover that needs to be removed before setup and refitted afterwards. Sliding rail fasteners and elastic outer cords guide the tent fabric inwards when closing. The 1-Click-Lock system secures the closed hard shell.

Sleeping comfort tailored to your needs

The approximately 8 cm thick comfort hybrid mattress combines a foam insert with a firmness level that can be adjusted using air pressure. This allows you to adapt the firmness to your personal sleeping preferences. The matching air pump is included.

Panoramic front, two roof windows and interior lighting

Several large windows and two roof windows with a blind function bring light and fresh air into the interior. The large panoramic front with terrace function and sunshade opens up the view outside and creates a bright feeling of space. A dimmable LED light strip with a USB-C connection provides pleasant interior lighting in the evening.

Well-designed climate and condensation management

The tent body is made from graphene-coated 300D fabric with a 5,000 mm water column and UV 50+. The coating supports light blocking and thermal insulation.

Ventilation openings at the front, rear and sides as well as in the upper and lower areas allow air to circulate and help condensation escape. A drainage system directs water away when the tent is open. The backflow-preventing drainage channel on the base plate supports controlled drainage.

Robust construction and practical organisation

An ABS design cover forms the hard shell and accommodates the ladder in a recess. The strong base plate is made from a nylon-glass-fibre composite material. Inside, two large shoe storage bags, two organisers with three small pockets each and two power bank pockets provide dedicated storage for personal items.

Mounting and extensions

Two suitable crossbars are recommended for mounting. The spacing between the mounting rails on the tent base is approximately 61 cm. A minimum distance of approximately 65 cm is required between the plastic feet of the crossbars across the width of the vehicle roof. Universal mounting and fastening materials are included.

A compatible annex can extend the MAPLE 205 with additional sheltered space at ground level. A compatible thermal inner tent is also available as an optional accessory for cooler nights.
