MAPLE 155 in grey – travel light and sleep spaciously
The hybrid hard-shell folding MAPLE 155 rooftop tent in grey combines the robust, aerodynamic outer shell of a hard-shell rooftop tent with the interior depth of a folding rooftop tent. When closed, it remains compact on the vehicle roof. Once unfolded, it creates a long sleeping area with space for up to two people as well as bags or equipment.
Generous sleeping area with compact packed dimensions
The sleeping area measures approximately 140 × 240 cm, providing additional room at the foot end. The maximum interior height is approximately 110 cm. When open, the MAPLE 155 measures approximately 260 × 160 cm, while its closed external dimensions are reduced to approximately 160 × 125 × 28 cm. Bedding can remain inside the closed tent.
Approximately 67 kg including ladder and mattress
The MAPLE 155 weighs approximately 67 kg including the ladder and mattress. The detachable black aluminium ladder is approximately 230 cm long, has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg and weighs approximately 6 kg. During travel, it can remain in the recess provided on the hard shell. Aerodynamic mouldings enclose it on both sides. Alternatively, it can be removed to reduce the tent weight remaining on the vehicle accordingly.
Easy opening and closing
Gas struts assist one-handed opening of the rooftop tent. There is no separate cover that needs to be removed before setup and refitted afterwards. Sliding rail fasteners and elastic outer cords guide the tent fabric inwards when closing. The 1-Click-Lock system secures the closed hard shell.
Sleeping comfort tailored to your needs
The approximately 8 cm thick comfort hybrid mattress combines a foam insert with a firmness level that can be adjusted using air pressure. This allows you to adapt the firmness to your personal sleeping preferences. The matching air pump is included.
Panoramic front, roof windows and interior lighting
Five windows, including two roof windows with a blind function, bring light and fresh air into the interior. The large panoramic front with terrace function and sunshade opens up the view outside and creates a bright feeling of space. A dimmable LED light strip with a USB-C connection provides pleasant interior lighting in the evening.
Well-designed climate and condensation management
The tent body is made from breathable, graphene-coated 300D fabric with a 5,000 mm water column and UV 50+. The coating supports light blocking and thermal insulation, while the breathable fabric contributes to a pleasant interior climate.
Ventilation openings at the front, rear and sides as well as in the upper and lower areas allow air to circulate and help condensation escape. A drainage system directs water away when the tent is open. The backflow-preventing drainage channel on the base plate supports controlled drainage.
Robust construction and practical organisation
An ABS design cover forms the hard shell and accommodates the ladder in a recess. The strong base plate is made from a nylon-glass-fibre composite material. Inside, two large shoe storage bags, two organisers with three small pockets each and two power bank pockets provide dedicated storage for personal items.
Mounting and extensions
Two suitable crossbars are recommended for mounting. The spacing between the mounting rails on the tent base is approximately 61 cm. A minimum distance of approximately 65 cm is required between the plastic feet of the crossbars across the width of the vehicle roof. Universal mounting and fastening materials are included.
A compatible annex can extend the MAPLE 155 with additional sheltered space at ground level. A compatible thermal inner tent is also available as an optional accessory for cooler nights.
