The VICKYWOOD Freestanding Awning Tent 170 cm in grey creates a flexible extra room at camp that can remain standing independently thanks to its stable aluminium frame. Your basecamp can therefore stay set up while the vehicle is used elsewhere.

A freestanding extra room while your vehicle stays flexible

The VICKYWOOD Freestanding Awning Tent 170 cm in grey creates a dedicated space at your pitch for equipment and camp activities that do not need to remain inside the vehicle or rooftop tent. Its stable aluminium frame allows the room to stand independently: once camp is set up, it can remain in place while you drive away for shopping, a day trip or to explore the surrounding area.

This is particularly useful during multi-day stays because your basecamp remains organised. Bags, shoes, camping furniture and other equipment do not have to be packed away every time the vehicle needs to move.

One room for different camp situations

The tent is deliberately versatile. Use it as protected storage, a private changing area, camping kitchen, living space or an additional sleeping area. This lets you reorganise camp around the trip, weather and number of people rather than committing the room to one fixed purpose.

The upper connection width is approx. 170 cm. At ground level the front widens to approx. 200 cm, while depth is approx. 190 cm and height approx. 187 cm. This shape creates more usable floor-level space while keeping the upper connection zone compact.

Also connects to a compatible VICKYWOOD side awning

In addition to freestanding use, the awning tent can be attached to a compatible VICKYWOOD side awning. The connection uses keder piping and a zip. An important point when choosing the setup is that the 170 cm figure refers to the tent's upper connection width.

Before combining it with an existing awning, check that the side awning, connection width and vehicle setup are compatible. This preserves the flexibility of freestanding use while making the awning connection available for correctly matched setups.

420D Oxford, windows and black rainfly

The outer fabric is made from durable PU-coated 420D Oxford polyester. Side windows bring daylight and ventilation into the room. When greater privacy or reduced light is preferred, the existing window covers can be closed.

An additional black rainfly provides further weather protection. It can also be set up as a small sun canopy, extending the usable sheltered area around the entrance of the tent.

Set up securely and adapt to the weather

For safe use, set the awning tent up completely and guy it correctly. Adjust the guying to the current wind and weather conditions. In strong winds or severe weather, take the tent down in good time.
