Sheltered extra space beside the MIGHTY OAK
The VICKYWOOD MIGHTY OAK annex turns the area next to the rooftop tent into a protected room for everyday camp life. It creates useful space for equipment, shoes and bags, and forms a sheltered transition between the vehicle and rooftop tent without taking up the sleeping area inside.
The room remains flexible to use: four door openings provide access on every side and make it easier to move around the vehicle and pitch. Each opening has mosquito netting, allowing fresh air into the room while maintaining an insect barrier.
Direct connection for MIGHTY OAK Generations 2 and 3
The annex is designed for MIGHTY OAK rooftop tents from Generations 2 and 3. A keder connection and SBS zip create a secure, clearly matched attachment. Overlapping fabric panels cover the zips and provide extra protection in rain. The construction offers approx. 10 cm of height adjustment and suits taller vehicles around 210 to 220 cm.
Removable floor for different pitches
The floor uses durable 680 g/m² PVC truck-tarpaulin material and can be removed by zip. This means the annex can be used with a closed floor or opened underneath when the ground conditions or intended use make a floor-free setup more practical.
Recycled ripstop with a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head
The wall fabric is recycled 320 g/m² ripstop polyester with a PU coating and a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head. Aluminium telescopic poles adjust continuously from approx. 143 to 250 cm and support adaptation to the vehicle height and pitch.
Choose 160 or 190 cm to match the rooftop tent
The 160 cm version measures approx. 240 × 245 cm when set up and weighs approx. 16 kg. For a larger footprint, the 190 cm version measures approx. 240 × 260 cm and weighs approx. 17 kg. Both sizes are available in Earthy Yellow and Grey, allowing size and colour to be matched to the existing MIGHTY OAK.
In everyday camp use, this combination keeps the entrance area organised while still letting you choose between a closed floor and open ground. The four-sided access also helps when the vehicle layout, pitch or weather changes during a trip.
