More protected space beside the MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165
The MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 annex extends your rooftop tent with a generous protected area directly beside the vehicle. When set up, the interior measures approx. 250 × 290 cm, adding useful room for everyday camping. The extra space can make the transition between vehicle and rooftop tent more comfortable and provides an organised area for keeping equipment better protected from the elements.
Purpose-built connection and suitable vehicle height
The annex is designed specifically for the MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 and attaches directly to the rooftop tent with a sturdy zip. The construction is suitable for vehicle heights from 200 to 220 cm. This creates a clearly defined connection between the rooftop tent, annex and vehicle rather than relying on a universal solution with only approximate compatibility.
Four openings for access, airflow and daylight
The space has four usable openings: one door facing forwards, one door on the vehicle side and two windows that can be opened. This lets you choose access to suit the pitch and ventilate the interior as needed. All four door and window openings can be protected with mosquito nets and closed with tent fabric. The side windows also feature PVC film so daylight can enter the annex when the window panels are closed.
Two additional light panels are positioned above the windows. They bring more brightness into the interior and help create a more open feel without requiring another opening to be operated.
Stable construction with aluminium poles
The curved aluminium tent pole structure forms the main support for the annex. Together with the guying points, supplied pegs and guy lines, it allows the annex to be positioned and secured reliably at the campsite. The curved design also supports usable interior space without adding unnecessary structural elements around the footprint.
Two telescopic poles for added flexibility
Two aluminium telescopic poles are included. They measure approx. 74 cm when retracted and extend up to 200 cm. They are intended for extended use of the tent panels, giving you additional flexibility when arranging the annex at your pitch.
Prepared for a heating hose
For cooler travel days, a closable opening with a diameter of 6 cm is integrated into the annex. A heating hose can be routed through this point without keeping a door or window permanently open. When the opening is not required, it can be closed again.
Water-repellent ripstop polyester and compact transport
The tent fabric is made from water-repellent ripstop polyester, while the pole structure and telescopic poles are aluminium. The complete annex has an item weight of approx. 15.25 kg. For transport and storage, it packs into the included carry bag to 77 × 40 × 37 cm. This keeps the extension compact and predictable to store in the vehicle despite its generous interior dimensions when set up.
Two colour variants with identical equipment
The MIGHTY OAK LIGHT 165 annex is available in earthy-yellow and grey. Both colour variants have the same dimensions, weight and equipment, so you can choose the colour to suit your rooftop tent without having to consider differences in function or what is included.
