The hybrid MAPLE 205 hard-shell fold-out rooftop tent combines the robust aerodynamics of a hard shell with the impressive interior depth of classic fold-out tents. Equipped with a premium self-inflating air mattress with foam insert, the MAPLE 205 adapts to your individual needs. More air or less air? You decide your preferred firmness level. For restful sleep after long hikes, surf sessions or full days outside. An air pump is, of course, included in the scope of delivery.

Outstanding ventilation – even in the rain

With 5 windows, the large entrance and multiple ventilation openings at the front, rear, sides, top and bottom, the MAPLE 205 offers an exceptionally well-designed ventilation concept. Even in the rain, the interior climate remains pleasant – condensation can escape effectively. In addition, the tent is equipped with a smart drainage system for reliable water drainage when open and a backflow-preventing drainage channel on the base plate, helping you stay dry inside – even when the weather changes unexpectedly.

Smart technology for relaxed road trips

The specially developed press-buckle locking system with safety pin provides double security while driving and offers faster, more comfortable handling than conventional systems. A real highlight: the first permanently mounted click-in ladder. You unlock and extend the ladder comfortably while standing next to the car – and open the tent from this relaxed position. No climbing onto the car roof required. While driving, the ladder can remain on top of the case, enclosed on the left and right by aerodynamic moulded parts, producing hardly any wind noise. Alternatively, it can be removed quickly – reducing the rooftop tent weight by a further approx. 6 kg.

Set up in seconds – more time for what really matters

Thanks to gas struts, the MAPLE 205 opens particularly easily and with just one hand. A classic tent cover, as used on conventional fold-out tents, has been deliberately omitted – saving time and making setup significantly easier. The 1-click-lock closure ensures secure fastening of the hard shell. High-quality materials provide stability and durability – even with frequent use.

Thanks to sliding rail closures and elastic outer cords, the tent fabric does not have to be awkwardly tucked into the case when closing. Simply close it. Drive on. Next adventure.
